After finding some interesting ties on another site, had to try something..... similar to what i saw. These are 1/4oz. and used lots of different materials. I don't have all that many colors of deer body hair for spinning, so used the hair from the top side, base of some bucktail that flared pretty good.

1st attempt:

2nd attempt:

This one uses 4 colors of craft fur and 2 colors of rabbit with a couple different colors of flash and 2 colors of cactus chenille at the throat. Tried to make it full bodied but keep the taper out to the tail so it still had some kick at the back.

Last one i tied a couple days ago. Not a bass jig and nothing fancy, but think it turned out looking good and just wanted to show it off. 1/24 PINK crappie jig:

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Well done AF.

I'm going to get reacquainted with spinning deer. Would like to tie a few deer hair jigs myself.

Your crappie jig looks picture perfect to me.

They all look great. I really like the blending of the 2nd one. It's got a perfect profile and the colors are spot on. Dunno nada bout spinning buck but will look into it. I've got two tales curing but Imma try an acid dye once I can exchange words with RD.
Love the last'n. Mica pearl pink n some red flake? Pink n blue has been good to me in the gravel pits lately and that chenille is perfect for it. I've got a close to yours combo that I may change to a pink head now after seeing yours

1/24 is one I've never tied. You usually cast em and count Down Til retrieve, cork or tight line?

Really nice!!! I can spin deer hair but I don't have any hide, when I do the muddler type collars I just take the short pieces of bucktail and use those as they flair pretty good. I like how you layered the middle one and the fullness you got on the top is excellent and Fatman, try using the chenille collar like Attica has done on the bottom jig, that one I would say has more application as the color are subtle enough for clear water but it has enough flash for stained water while the top 2 would be more of a clear water type. Well done AtticaFish!!! I'm not even attempting it!!

Thanks for the comments everyone.

The 2nd attempt on the spun hair i liked better..... the 1st one i trimmed all of the spun hair and the 2nd i tried to leave some of the hair tips out the back. I want even more of the tips sticking out, but that is gonna take more practice i guess.

Lost Pole - The paint is exactly as you said..... base color of pink with mica on the bottom, red glitter on top. Could be wrong, but thinking you sent that chenille to me - said i was too drab and needed to brighten up. haha. The 1/24 are fairly new to me and not had much time on the water with them yet. I use the 1/32's under a float to help cast them out farther so these might have a enough wait to cast, count and retrieve.

Is that midge flash on the little 1/24oz jig? I ask because it is perfect on that size jig, I use flashabou accent which is almost the same as Krystal flash, on a 1/48oz jig. I like the flash you have on that as you can see it but it is very subtle, just enough to get the attention of a spooky fish. I also like the way the marabou is, did you just take the fibers off the quill and tie them in like that or did you have a full plume that fit on that size jig? It doesn't really matter but it looks killer!! I ask too many questions but it is how I learned here and I always appreciate the help.

Very nice work on the jigs. The spun deer hair looks good, been a long time since I have tried spinning hair. The small jigs colors look goes very well together.

Smalljaw - It is peacock color midge flash. Midge flash is my favorite type of flash - it seems to have a lot of reflection to it - have a few different colors and the pearl and peacock are my choice.

The marabou was pulled off the quill in sections and stacked on the shank.

Never too many questions. :)

Very Nice Attica. OK you guys all now are talking high tech since I'm a bass jig making guy. What does spinning deer hair mean, or what is the process?
Just a FMI (For My Info).

Thanks Macon1. Of all of them, i like the 'looks' of the third one the best. That first one sure has a lot of flash to it though. Fished them only one day so far and no takers at my local reservoir - need more testing - and happy to oblige. :)
