Like the color contrast - black/red is an excellent combo for my river but have never tried the contrasting chenille like that. Looks good. Is this the jig combo that caught that muskie?

Attica, yes the best I can remember. The chennile may have been wild apple or insect not pearl white. That jig was tyed a few years back..........

Thanks all for the response from everyone....guess it wasn't to bad...........

Your tying will come back quicker than you think!!! I had to go 3 years with no tackle crafting of any kind and got right back into it.

Yes, red & black might be one of, if not the most dependable two color combo in JigCrafting. Even got its own names like Nightmare & Black Widow.

Nice tie. That will put some perch and crappie in the cooler for sure.

The Nightmare color pattern sure kills the steelhead out here. The traditional Nightmare has a white head, red chenille body and black marabou tail. I've tied up quite a few with various red chenilles and tail materials like rabbit and fox.
