Finally was able to finish reading “Nymph fly-Tying Techniques” by Jim Schollmeyer (Frank Amato Pub. Inc.). This one of those books you find yourself reading over and over – probably why it took so long to finish…
The book is loaded with a lot of great information for the bug tyers. Some awesome patterns (great layouts), tying techniques, with bunches of pics (easy to follow instruction). There is a tutorial on making wire chenille that I found extremely interesting. Also got some good ideas that I want to try on some of my Bluegill and Redear jigs.
I highly recommend this book for all tyers. Found a copy on eBay for ~$12.00.
