Bigger Body is Better

I never get tired of seeing that style jig, the patterns are perfect and the bigger body with the chenille really makes everything else pop, great work!!

I found a whole bunch of them years ago in my dad's old boat that I inherited, he was from New York and did a lot of perch fishing, I'll have to tie some up.
I never new they were called Texas Toast.

Texas Toast is the name of the chenille color, not the jig itself.

I have some, but haven't tried tying with it yet. For those of you who have used it, what water condition would you say it works best in?

Lake Palestine water stays murky to dark nearly year round & TT is good here but like LP said, add some Orange, chartreuse, yellow, green, etc to it & its good in most any water.
