Tied this jig-n-worm on a 1/8-ounce ball head with a #2 hook. Its total length is about 5.0 inches.

Materials:
  • Darice Craft Fur - orange
  • Lion Brand Suede (#5 chenille yarn) - coffee
  • Bungee cord rubber - 1/8 of an inch wide
  • UTC Ultra Thread (140 denier) - dark brown
  • Harbor Freight Powder Paint - brown-colored mixture

Plan to fish this one as a bottom bouncer for river smallmouth bass.

Thank you for your comments Everyone. :)

The brown paint is a 1:1:1 mix of red, black, and yellow HF PP. Regarding the tie, most of what I did roughly follows the instructions to tie a Shannon's Streamer that Len provided in his Fly To A Jig post.

Tonight, I tied with green-colored materials. More jig-n-worm ties for river bass.

I need to field test the sage green version soon. The olive-colored jig will likely work in my opinion. :jig:
