We had a maginficent day crappie fishing.Started out a little foggy in the early am but soon lifted and a light wind was blowing to provide us with perfect drift conditions.I think that we may have tried every type of jig that I tied up in the last year. They outfished minnows and Gulp by a 5 to 1 ratio.Started at 6:30 am and finished up at 5:00 pm.Kept 50 of them that were just legal.Tjhen just started using differant jigs and taking pics before they were left go for another time.Over 200 fish were caught.Great day for a jig tyer. The boys were amazed.

That's awesome!!! Love to see fish caught on hand tied jigs. It looks like all the jigs worked well for you. Congrats on the fishing and the jigs.

200 fish day sound like a dream! Glad you got your 50 to take home..... was that a limit for how many you had in the boat? Also - how deep were you fishing? Cool nights coming will move them around alot.

Love a foggy morning in the mountains. Pictures of the lake/hills almost as nice as the fishing. Peaceful.

lol.You tell him I said "Thank you".The straggly orange jig with some marabou and just a thread neck was unstopable today. It had everyone tying on anything that had orange in it.My jigbox is in a shambles now, lol.

Wow, that looked like a busy day. Great pics Salty.

I thought I heard of that place before. I used to hunt right outside of Lockhaven on rte 120/Renova rd. We went there on a little sight seeing trip. Nice place.
