My wife tied up some auto's for my dad to take home with him to Colorado at the beginning of the summer. Turns out that the Colorado 'gill population loves the auto.

Here is the champion auto of the season -- I suppose we should have asked him if he wanted a few more (and yes, he just received a package with a refill set!)

This little guy caught 90+ 'gills before becoming exhausted.

I swear they work better the more they get beat to heck. Sometime makes me wonder why i try to make mine look so nice to begin with. Was it a jig with lead head to start or just tied on the jig hook with no weight?

It started as a regular old 1/32 auto. Lead jig head and everything!
