I've seen a guy catch a 30 lbs and a 17 lbs Flathead on a 1/2 oz ball head jig, chartreuse, with a big chartreuse plastic trailer. He was targeting Stripers (I think), but caught those.
I have a buddy on my local FB kayaking group that targets Flatheads with big jigs and soft plastics, in the brush piles, from his FLOAT TUBE! Talk about insane!
