Hey Led do you retore them?

I betcha some steel wool & a brass brush would clean that vise up nicely.

But would it loose its value?

hu - I don't think cleaning this one would be a bad thing, especially if you were going to tye on it. Some vises I wouldn't clean, like the hand vises.

This particular one is challenging - one side of the jaw can come out. It's wedged inside the collet and closes when the wheel is turned. Won't hold a big selection of hooks....
