Yea,went again.Started out to be a very lousey day.Weather forecast was for a nice day, maybe scattered showers and a 1.5 to 3.0 foot sea.Got to Raratin Bat after leaving home at 3:00 am and it was pouring for the last hour of the drive. At 8:00 am was going to call it a day and go home, then said the heck with that idea.Stopped at Max's Tackle Shop in Belmar New Jersey and picked up my 2,3 and 4 oz. Ultra Minnow Mold, some eyes and a Mann's Stretch 25 Bunker Colered.Oh yea, saved $12.99 in shipping cost.Got a ramp key and into the Snake River we went.Had a garbage bag over my body to keep the rain off.Went back into the rear cove channel and two guys were tearing them up on Peanut Bunker that they cast netted. They were everywhere. Here's a couple of pics of the baitfish that we caught and then tore them up also. Not like the place that we wanted to go.But a lot better then going home.Enjoy !!

A couple of the keepers.Red 1/2 oz. bucktail tipped with a bunker was the ticket for me on 7 fish.2 were keepers.Grey tipped with a spearing was the ticket for my brother in law and his brother. They caught probably 20 fish with the bucktails.Bare jigheqads would produce nothing at all.Who knows. They love my jigs, lol.
