The Ament catalog I have doesn't have a date on it.

Very interesting...his Precision Boxing Glove and Grub Head molds appear to be functional designs unavailable from other production mold makers.

Since many Ament production molds are identical designs to Do-it & Hilts, who was the original and who the knock-off?

Hj - have both molds - not sure of the weights though... His stuff is awesome.

I think Ament, HI (Horrock-Ibbotson), E.L. Sweet, and Palmer (JIMCO) were out before Do-it, Li'l Mac, and Hilt's (think they came out in the late 60's or later).
