Guys I just added a video about how the tyers on JigCraft are leaning about Reds Wool&Satin jigs. I hope you enjoy the tutorial and I hope I tied the jig well enough to satisfied Red.

I talked with Russ before I made this video, thanks for giving me the OK to do this tutorial. To the tyers in the swap, this is my jig you will receive.

Great video!!!! Could not clearly understand the thread you were using or where you purchased the wool (to much time on a weapons range in a former life)! Can you help?
Also what is your thoughts on eye's. Do you think eye's make a difference? Has time on the water shown a difference? Sorry for all the questions. Again outstanding video!

The thread is Clark & Coats, can be bought at any of the craft stores. The wool used in these jigs were ordered from Pendleton Woolen Mills. I have a lot of wool I already had for tying flies before these jigs hit JigCraft but seen this wool on E-Bay one night and ordered some to use on these jigs. Eyes are always a big question between tyers and fisherman but I like eyes on a jig if painted on or 3D eyes. It comes down to the old saying "have you ever seen a blind minnow". I know the eyes does make a difference even on a unpainted head I want a least a black dot.

Very great video. I just watched it on a 40" wide tv and it's superb. Not really into the materials yet but at least I'll have your video to fall back on.
Awesome tutorial!

Excellent video!!!!!!!

Found the ebay store for them I'm looking at the Marigold yellow, white, baby pink, turquoise, light grey, dark brown and true red. Would you plus or minus any of these colors????

Doug I got the black, white, marigold and hot pink. All the colors you said look great. I can tell you that a 1/4 is a lot of wool and will tie many many jigs :) The hot pink is the one I used on the bottom of the jig.

Guys thanks so much for your comments, means a lot coming from y'all.

Thought it was orange at first!! Thanks for the update. For $1.50 a pack and no shipping I'll just get them all plus black. I can use them for tying flys too.

Thanks again

Awesome job Stump! It's good for folks like me to see it done since I've probably forgotten how to even start a thread wrap!
