Here are two new jigs that I'm going to try, it is a variation of one I do now which I call the "D Special", which is basically a rabbit strip tail with a little chenille with some flash tied on just short of the head and then short bucktail tied on in a way that the flash of the chenille can show through and the bucktail stays short extending just about mid tail. These ones I call the "Flying D" and all it is is the same as the other ones only the bucktail is tied on opposite sides looking like wings and exposing more of the chenille. The top jig is a 3/32oz walleye head painted shad gray, it has a white and chartreuse UV2 rabbit strip for the tail and arctic ice chenille as the body and white bucktail tied in for the wings. The bottom jig is the same 3/32oz jighead painted shad gray with a little black flake, it has a white and chartreuse UV2 rabbit strip tail with black pearl chenille as the body and black bucktail tied in for the wings. Tell me what you think, the pic is lousy as the camera isn't picking up the shimmering of the chenille in the light but it looks cool. I also tank tested it after I took the pics and it really looks cool in the water and doesn't turn over so now it is up to the fish in the early spring that will tell me if I should keep tying it but for now I'll ask the opinion of the jigcraft members.
