I'm expecting this action-filled jig to really agitate some shallow crappie in a month or so:
DSC01437.jpg
head: 1/16 pank horse head jig and willow blade (Thanks Jungle!)
tail: 2 pink strung saddle hackles, several strands of pank rubber legs, and chartreuse marabou (Thanks again Jungle!)
body: chartreuse wooly bugger chenille (from BPS)

A couple of jigs that have caught me a lot of crappie:

Top Jig
head: 1/32 (I think) pank lead head
tail: chartreuse and white marabou and pearl krystal flash
body: pearl sparkle braid and a scrap piece of chartreuse wooly bugger chenille over the top

Bottom Jig
head: 1/16 pank
tail: same
body: chartreuse wooly bugger chenille

Very cool chart/white body. I have yet to give pink a fair shake on the water yet... plan to this year...

Great-looking ties OKSJ.

I've never had much success with horsehead jigs, though I know they're the favorites of many crappie anglers. Your HH jig looks really good to me.
