Here's a whole herd of ghost minners, of different sizes :D
20130526_124737.jpg
1/32nd oz. 1/64th oz and 1/80th oz :D
The 1/80th oz ones have a flashabou wrapped body, coated with some CA, the other sizes have some shiny flashy chenille...all of them have one piece, on either side, of holographic flashabou...

I also tied up a few in different colors...now I just gotta get out there, again, and try 'em ALL out...The blue one works, caught a couple on it (it and the yellow/white one are both tied on 1/124th oz jig heads), the green one didn't get bit...but I don't think I tried it long enough, I quit trying after the original ghost minnows started slaying 'em...!

Thanks for the replies guys... the 'craft fur' I use really looks good in the water...A tiny bit of rod to movement and the fibers really move in an enticing manner! Almost like Red's jigs! I still need to get me some wool and incorporate it into my ghost minnows!

So far...awesome! I have a little change I want to incorporate into the design...but that might take some time...need some of 'Red's wool'.....I also have another idea that I've incorporated, but haven't had a chance to try them out yet...the patterns you see are all big producers...they've caught, LMB, SMB, gasper goo, bream of all types, catfish, hybrids, sandies and crappie :)

The blue over white would prolly work quite well...Make sure you put one piece of holographic flashabou on each side as the lateral line...:)

Thanks lost pole...I would imagine the color combos are endless, and could be tied to suit your lake/stream/pond/tank or whatever water your fishing in...I really like the gray over white the best...it really mimics the bait-fish (ghost minnow) very well! Emerald shiners would be easy to replicate as well...I really like the jigs that look like the actual fish...but that's just me!

Those would get nailed quickly in my waters. I also love using thin craft fur ties on small jigs - it has a very fluid motion. Wool on such light heads might dramatically slow the fall... but at the same time turn it into a fat ghost instead of your thin profile. I am betting they would work well though.

My favs are the green/white and yellow/white. Would be first on my line anyway. Excellent ties.

Thanks AtticaFish
Yeah, the wool will need to be trimmed a bit as I really don't want them too fat... ;) I would think the green/white ones would kinda mimic an emerald shiner...I had a double rig with the blue/white and the green/white...the blue/white one got hit a few times but the green one...nuthin' then I tried the gray/white and that is pretty much what I've stuck with because it produced amazingly well! I still haven't tried the pink/black or the yellow/white ones...yet...
