1/8 oz. Black Beauty

This was my last painted head that I started the summer with.It is an 1/8 oz. no collar with a bronze size 1 570 aberdeen hook.Black marabou tail,black and a smidge of silver paint on the head,silver flash and black chenille.I have a lot of jigs to try out.Getting to be my favorite time of the year for crappie.

That is WICKED Salty!!!!!! How do you get the chenille to taper like that without a collar? BTW I hope you don't mind but when I get my new mold I am going to try to make something similar.

That's why the pics are up here.I wrap the chenille one full time at the rear where my thread stops from tying the tail on and then double wrap it every second time.I might go back over with another wrap if it is missing somewhere.

I'm not sure.Crazy Angler sent it to me without any #'s as a shipping cost payoff,It has some grey in it.I will be getting more of it.It's a black then a gray with blue flecks in it.
