Finally got to try these out yesterday, and they passed the test. Caught a lot of ticked off males. The bottom jig with pink head is the actual one used so if it looks beat up thats why. Fished these in heavy cover 2 to 4 ft deep. I was surprised at how few hangups I had with these. I think the 1/50th with a #8 sickle will perform even better.

Both look good, black/chart is a winner for me on some days and really like that tie!

Wonder if it is the nose on these that would deflect it from brush or if it is how the hook point is close to being in-line with the hook eye...

Thanks fellas. AF, i think its a combination of the two. The heads dont dart which helps also.
