Most fish were caught on the Reptile Auto. Hook up ratio was way down - pretty sure it was hook size.. EC hooks are still working out. OG Fabby pink Auto

Got to try the new EC sickles today - was using the BLN #6 tyed Chub & Belly spinner style. Fished inside area 42 - still looking for 3lb BG. Hook up ratio went way up - can't say for sure if it was the hook or the size. Was very happy either way. The hook is comparable to the Matzuo and the QC...

Fished Bellyspinners and Autos today. Pretty good bite in 30-40 FOW. Surface temp was a 69.9 F.

Got out with Big Ant. Really slow start and then BA took off. Had to scramble to stay in contention... Late bite again. Switched over to the autos.

You are still here in spirit and remembered.

Found some big BGs today and finally landed some that have been breaking off or I've dropped. Extremely frustrating - drop two more today! These are relatively deep (~44 FOW) and it is not an early morning bite.... Big female almost 11" Another shot of hybrid female Notice the ear...

Fished for a little bit with my Grand Nephew today. Short trip but found some nice BGs. Fish are moving - found another deep water area (~40+ FOW) with Matt yesterday.

Fished with new member reefmo. Show him about LP fishing. Not of the hook but found a few...

Natural or dyed - fluorescent colors, even better. Have a lot jig crafting stuff, custom lead heads, hemostats, molds (plastic & lead), etc.

Having a phenomenal fall season with the Belly spinners and the Chubs.. Need to listen to my buddy Big Jim more often. He's been after me to hit the deep water - hate it when he's right. Fished in the fog - glad we have a GPS - in 44 to 25 FOW. Surface temp is 73.

Might have some tyed up for a field test on Tuesday. Seem slightly lighter wire than the Matzuo sickles - different point. Poured up a bunch of custom chubs, regular Chubs, & footballs on the new hooks; #6 BLN hook comparison. Top row is Matzuo, mid is EC, and the round bend hook is #6 Owner;

Fishing on Saturday is not a good idea. Ran into a boat vulture, same one from yesterday... Save Pig Point for Monday. Boat vulture - they were even closer than this. Stopped and moved from where I was trolling so they could mark the wrong spot.
