So what do you think of the hot pot II for lead pouring on a fairly small scale? Has anyone used one and know how well they hold up, and how well that it melts the lead?

What size spinners do I need for pony head jigs sizes 1/8 through 5/16.

I am going to be in the market for a new digital camera. What would be your recommendations for a mid range price camera good for taking pictures of jigs and the like as well as some other hobby photography? One that is not too complicated to operate would be a plus as well. Thanks

Here are some I rambled over, not sure I like how the bodies on the gold ones turned out.

If a lead mold calls for instance a number 2 Eagle claw 570 or 575 hook will a sickle hook in the same size number 2 work?:huh:

Has anyone used the powder plastic dyes? How does it work? Is it as good as the liquid? On a side note, injected some 6" stick baits 4 cav mold, and all four had the outer part fully formed but about the top 1/4 was kind of hollow? These are injected one at a time from the top by the way.

Tied up a couple of chickens and the little crankbait just a bonus. haven't put eyes or hooks on yet.

First lures made with injector. Hard to tell in the pic but the one creature bait was a laminate made with Toadfrog's suggestion to put a piece of tinfoil to separate the two halves of the cavity. Satisfied for my first time but need more practice.:)

I have some injection molds and an injector on the way (trimming hand pours is for the birds). My question is what do you think is the best way to cool freshly molded plastics. How long before removing from mold cavity? then air cool hanging up or lying down or in a water bath. Thanks in...

Just curious, what is everyone's favorite jigging outfit rod/reel/size line. especially the ultralight stuff. I'll start for the really light stuff 2lb test on a Zebco 15 6' ultralight rod. Regular jigging, 10' rod with spinning reel, 8lb test
