Like EddieB I have the molds to make both kinds. I've used both fur and plastics when trying for trout, which for me is mostly on a pond and after the rivers got blown out by floods it's really hard to get a blade spinning in ankle deep water.
I have one orginal left! and don't use it. I have some I tied up with polar bear and it dyes up really well. first is Kingfisher blue and the other orange.
I've been using Fly Dye from Lure Parts online but sadly just learned that they aren't going to carry it anymore!!! I complained loudly!! I'm picking up a few jars of each of the colors they have left. After that It might be back to the Veniards fly dye even though it costs more.
