TC hooked up with the first bass of the night on a Purple Anokpeas' Bugger!

The creek was littered with fallfish nest mounds and lots of smallie redds

Nice rock bass! This was caught behind a rock in the current. I tell TC... hey this spot I've caught a lot of rock bass. You should try it... in fact fish behind that rock. I'll bet a nice bass lives there. So TC cast and shimmies his fly behind the rock and BAM! Fish on... sometimes I actually know what I'm talking about!! LOL!!

A nice sized smallie for such a small creek we were fishing!

My nicest smallie of the night caught on a NB Clouser Minnow. This fish came up out of the water and grabbed this fly as I was taking it off the water. Very cool!!! Even cooler is that I landed her!

TC definitely outfished me tonight... at least 10 bass landed... and about that many more hooked up. What a great night!

I defintely need to try purple on these Missouri smallies, I wish I could have been there. River's here drop a little, then the rains come and fill it back up,starting to get frustrated. Probably be July before the rivers get fishable here.

It's a very very good "mixed bag" creek. We have caught walleye, pike, fallfish, chubs, rockies, North East PA trout slam of brook, brown, and 'bow.

Occasionally a muskie works it's way upstream. When you see one of those.... in a creek this small... WOW!
