Just a preview of what I plan to post at my blog site.

One is a firetail (pink/black), a classic worm for largemouth bass.  The other is a smaller offering that I've tied for smallmouth bass.  I look forward to fishing both of them.

Those are pony beads. What's neat about them, in my opinion, is that they float.
Those are pretty ingenious. So you could also put a little lead in the head and the tail would float? I see lot's of possibilities with those.

I plan to fish them with a bullet-style slip sinker of about 1/16 of an ounce in weight.  This is the way I fish soft plastic worms of similar length in lakes for largemouth bass.   The tails should float about and move pretty well.

I'll peg the sinker with a toothpick when fishing my short versions for smallmouth bass in moving water.
