Anybody have a lure project I might be able to help r & d . I don't charge anything or make any bold boasts. I just go out to the man cave and start scratching my head and tinkering. Sometimes its good sometimes its bad but I haven't blown anything up yet.

I've been working with a lot of blades lately in smaller sizes 00 through 1. Maybe some holes in the blades would create a different sound or possibly make bubbles. Larger size blades could be used with larger spinnerbaits. I'm not sure how to accomplish this without damaging the shape,nor do I have the tools. That would definitely be something the fish don't see much if ever. Something for you to think about. I don't remember seeing and spinnerbaits with holes in the blade.
Ok, I know exactly how. Did it with buzz blades once. If you know someone in the aircraft business they use a machine called an EDM (electro discharge machine) . That thing is the bomb when it comes to putting holes in something. Any angle , any size , any dia. won't hurt the finish at ALL. you would have to clean the blades because the dialectric fluib is slightly greasy. Wish I had one Or could get access to one I could do some wild stuff for you including making molds.
