here's one I call the wet squirrel. I have caught hundreds of bass and bluegill on it

Very nice fly! Found a pattern called a rabbit matuka that is close to that and i have tied a few now but yet to test them. Here is the page i found with some interesting color combos - Tip Dyed Rabbit Strips.

I take it you are using squirrel strips... is that what you used around the collar as well?

yes, also the body is a new material we all overlook- felt! if you pinch down on it and pull fibers come out as perfect dubbing! it is really easy to dub to

I can't figure how you get the fur to stay put on the other side of the hook from the strip?
