Pup did a jig similar to this called the hairy worm after the lure Dan Gapen made in the 60's called the hairy worm. They aren't fancy but they are effective. Both of the jigs are the same except the top one has a different color in the mix, these are weedless 1/8oz ball jigs painted brown with brown craft fur tied on as the body and a River Rock Baits trout worm serves as the trailer. The top jig has black craft fur tied in on the top for a little color change, I've had days were just a subtle difference in color made a huge impact.
