I was wondering if anyone sells 1/16 and 1/32 ounce tube style lead in bulk. I would like black chrome hooks too, Aberdeen or sickle or maybe both. Size #1,2 &4 hooks. I would be buying between 1000-5000 and after this initial order maybe ordering 1000 every 2 months.
Thanks Matt
Ps also I'm interested in these larva style if anyone pours them. Ill put a pic of one.

I can also get my hands on lead if anyone wants to use it with a partial trade. It's scuba weights so its pretty pure I think. I bet we have a pallet full 6" thick. (400?lbs) just guessing. Ill have to go through it first though, some is from old commercial dive dress and ill probably keep that. Also if anyone is just interested in it ill ask the old man how much he wants for it.

Man, that's a lot of tube jigs. I have the mold but that's more pouring than I want to do. Not sure if my mold would even take a #1. I'm sure someone wants to do it. For someone close by in your area I'd try Al's Lures. He lives in Granite City and his prices are reasonable. If interested send me a pm and I'll send you his number.

Thanks Jim. I got one of his cards at you guys booth at the show. Ill give him a call. It's more than I need, but I wanted to hold me over for a year. I would be happy with 1500 probably. And reorder later. The more I think of it 5000 is a lot!
I ordered 1000 and paid $66.00 with black chrome hooks plus shipping but it usually takes a month to get them. They last me about 2-3 months

I would be interested in buying some lead if you are selling. Also I could hook you up with someone who can spin cast those jigs for you for a reasonable price. He does 10's of thousands at a time. Pm me with pricing for the lead and also send me your e-mail or phone number so we can discuss the jigs you want.

Thanks in Advance

Sent a pm.

And Fatman you must read minds because I ordered from hagans last night around 8 and called it in this morning.
Too bad it was a bunch of ice jig blanks and packaging though.

Alot of folks skip Hagens when they see the prices but if they read the start you can get lower quantities just have to add a $1 for each item your doing it for. If anyone tries this don't do the order on-line!!! call it in and make sure you figured it right and the folks there will confirm it for you.

Thanks cadman. I looked at his site and he emailed me right back, guess ill give hook solutions a try.
Speaking of hagens I just received my first order from them. I placed it on Thursday and its Monday when I got it. I ordered about 600 ice jigs different styles and all are clean. I also ordered some packaging and looked around but i couldn't find it anywhere else cheaper with the small quantitys I wanted. I too, Fatman, was turned off about the prices but after calling the nice lady explained it all to me.

The really are affordable - when you learn the breakout, but I do a spreadsheet from 4-5 companies and see who the cheapest is. Works out good!!!!!!!!!!!

I found grandpa bobs to be reasonable but it can take awhile. I mean you can't beat $8 for 100 sickle or gold hooks and that is the online price. I found his bulk is cheaper than his online prices . But it does take a awhile to get. From what I've herd this is part time for him so its expected. Anyway Fatman I haven't called around but it seems like Barlows, Jann's net craft, tackle craft, tacklecraft.com, mudhole, and hagens seem to be the same prices. But also on the same note. They all ship fast. Like 3-5 days fast. So I guess I'm paying for the service too which I don't mind. There's many companies I return to because of the service. It's hard to find anymore.

I'll pay more for certain things when I do the spreadsheet if the over all shipping cost is lower!! It's like the clear jars from Uline for storing powder paint - a case of them is reasonable but the shipping is almost as much as the case of jars!!!!!!!!

On the lead I'd be interested in some pure lead - can never have enough!!!
