This mold is the upper end of the vintage Veniared vise. Very smooth.

Nice old vise probably works better than some of the newer ones

Those are good vises for flies . But if you put big hooks in it and crank down on the jaws you will goof the the threads . Being the knott head i am I've done stuff like that .
