Trying the Satin tails with spinners

Had to take a break from pouring pony's all day!
1/16 head have #4 sickle
1/32 head is the scarlet red with #6 sickle
Spinners willow and colorado #0

I have no RnD on the satin tails but in the water they look killer and I used a blend of two colors today for a different look.

They look good but that looks like a 1/32nd and I think that size colorado blade might cause them to roll on you.

I was thinking that but was not for sure. I could have went 000. I have open water now near the house. I think one day this week I will tie on and see what happens on the water after work.

Does anyone have suggestions or perference on the style cut of the tail. Flat across, backwards v, slanted. Just wondering if that really makes a difference. I generally cut flat but sometimes tinker.
