Here are some of the flies i plan to throw at the newly stocked trout. They are supposed to be between 12 and 15 inches, i hope i am not over doing my hooks. Most are #8 plain shanks and the long rabbits are on "6 abberdeen. Also got some info from some guys in my area, and thats where some of the ideas the patterns came from. They were talking about 'psyco' and 'crystal meth' fly patterns that they use for steelies though... who knows till you try i guess. :)

Also had to do some natural things just to sastify myself. :D I do know this is a winner for the gills in early summer! No clue if it will jive with the trout. Simple tie with just pheasent tail, dubbing and bead chain!

Look good to me! My favorite stocker fly is a size 12 1xl nymph hook, 1/8" gold bead, olive grizzly marabou tail, sparkly green dubbed body (like Peacock), and olive grizzly hackle collar. That, and a soft hackle hares ear.
