It was a very productive trip.Started out hursday night on a bleefish charter.Out in the ocean for maybe 20 miles.Everybody got a ton of bluefish. My son was like a proffessional bluefish catcher by the end of the night. My brother in l;aw Bill got the "pool fish" and won $120.We had 2, 55gal barrels full of the toothy monsters.I was'nt taking my new camera out 20 miles in the ocean and everybodies cell phones were dead.We ended up with a 100 gallon cooler full of fillets,Blue fish, fluke,a couple of whole small blue fish that were tearing up the schools of Bunker in the pics.We just kept following the school and snagging a couple and talso throwing big spoons. It was a blast.Frank came by on Friday and we went out for the whole day fluke fishing. We were in the ocean the whole time as the bays were just too warm.Sea bass,Sea Robins and a bunch of fluke.Maybe 50 of them.Nothing over 19 inches though. My doormat still eludes me,lol.

That squid that I got on the jig was snagged I believe,He accounted for about 5 more fluke when we cut him up for bait.Especially after he squirted his ink all over my live Killys in the bucket, lol.

Sounds like an awsome trip! You should have enough fish in the freezer to last awhile.

Water looks almost too flat to be out on the ocean - glad to see you had good weather.

The water was too calm and no wind.Makes for a very slow bite because you can't cover any ground with a good drift. And Hot,lol.Burnt to a crisp I was.Good thing was that you could cruise across the ocean at 35mph without getting your back crashed.Well, most of the time.Frank got the biggest fluke "On one of my jigs",lol.
