Here is what I was working on today, the first 2 were 2 minnow heads I had left over so I tied them up. The top jig is a 1/16oz jighead painted chartreuse, the tail is made up of chartreuse fish hair on the bottom and black craft fur on the top along with green and gold flash and then finished off with anthracite chenille for the body. The bottom jig is a 1/48oz jighead painted watermelon red flake and has a tail made from olive green fish hair and gold flash and then finished of with a body of black copper chenille. The next two are walleye heads, the top one is 1/16oz jig painted black and is a simple thread neck using black craft fur for the top and bottom and orange craft fur for the sides. The bottom one is a 3/32oz jig painted watermelon red flake and again is a simple thread neck using palmered medium olive marabou and green flash. The last two are both zonker patterns, the top one is a 1/16oz jig painted brown, the tail is a brown sculpin UV2 rabbit zonker and finished with a simple brown chenille body. The bottom one is a 3/32oz jig that is another simple thread neck using a brown sculpin UV2 rabbit zonker for the tail surrounded by brown bucktail as a body material and finished with black 210 denier thread on the collar of course.
