Well finished up my rod. Spiral wrapped the first 3 guides. Here's a few pics. The finish is still a little tacky, but it's a 9' for crappie jigging.

Put marks at 6" intervals for depth measurements.

I know, I got the label a little crooked.
Next thing is to see how it fishes. Too bad it is suppose to be freezing drizzle in the morning. The finish is still a little tacky, so probably should let it set for a day. Next is going to be either a 6'6" or 7' 1-piece spinning rod.

Do not forget pics this spring with crappies hanging off that sweet rod....nice work!

You got it done bud, way to go, looks really good. Now your gonna be catchin um on jigs you tied and a pole you built... Don't get no better than that... :icon14::icon14:
