These are on their way to him for creating my avatar. I told him I'd tie him a few jigs for his efforts and he said his preference was a bass minnow with black highlights and a shad minnow with white hights. I got as close as I could...

The bass pattern turned out awsome! What is the chenille on that one? Both are nice.

Nice jigs....what is your thoughts on a red eye vs a clear/standard color eye?

PB, these are my very first stroke at eyes on jigs so I don't have much to think on but I LOVE how everyone else's jigs look with eye's and I got a few 3mm to try but I think they're too small. I just ordered 3D eyes from China on ebay (a bunch of 3mm & 4mm) in red. yellow and silver,so we'll see. Personally, I think the yellow eye looks best on most jigs but red & silver definitely have a place.

For the LMB I took a 1/8oz Pro Walleye head and painted it white, then dusted both sides with silver, the top with black and did my best to tap a lateral line with black, then dusted some grass green trying not to cover the black. I used olive thread, olive hackle, silver flash and Arkansas shiner chenille
