I found a video on youtube for a "Wired Stonefly Nymph".  They look great!  Since we have them here, I've been wanting to tie some up, and finally got around to it.

This first pic is some I tied on TMC 200R size 16 hooks.  You can actually see how I get better as I tie them, as the first is on the right, the fourth is on the left.  If I do another dozen, I'll have it down pat.

These are the same pattern, but tied on 3xl curved-shank size 10 Hopper hooks.  I don't have any black wire thats big enough to do this pattern at this size, so I switched over to black vinyl D-Rib.

Nice ties! You have more patients than I do. Biot is always frustrating to me . Stones transfer over to jigs really well. I can PM you stonefly jig patterns if your interested. I transfered over to using that rubber string Biot and love the easy tie and cut.

Some leggy style stone nymph jigs I tied awhile back, Coffman stone turns out pretty good too. I prefer a bright red/pinkish ball head but orange works pretty well too, and of course white. If you want explanation on why those colors I can get into more detail.

These are real nice. Mind providing a materials list for the smaller jigs. Mostly curious what dubbing you're using? I can see the rubber legs and MFC sexi floss

All the leggy bug ties look irresistible to trout. Terrific functional artistry !

Another buggy option - JiggerJohn has been killing warm water species with Gulp! 1-1/2" Hellgrammites on 1/24 #8 jigs.

I really should get some of those. Now that I'm up here in MI, all the streams have rocky areas, and Smallies love Hellgies....
