where I live in the land of steelhead it never surprises me at the color combinations that are used but basically it is black and white and black and purple and black and pink orange like a rust there so many different ones that they use in the rivers in Oregon it varies from East to West like if you're fishing in the eastern part of our state it will be much different than the coastal streams.
