Did some more dual frames and a few beetle spin frames, still got a while to go before spring so gives me a chance to build them up

FM, what is the purpose of the bend on one leg of the spreader? I noticed the same on some Mr Crappie baits and wondered what the purpose was as opposed to two straight legs.

Basically did the same as the orginal and it does help spread the jigs out. When I first took the one out of the package that my grand daughter won - I noticed that there wasn't a whole lot of wire holding the jigs on. Also I didn't see a way to change the jigs for other ones without weakening the wire. So I bent the frame the same way and changed both ends to the coiled wire closures.

Here's an original and you can see there isn't a whole lot of wire holding the jigs

Stump tried a few of them and he had good luck with them.
