Hey Folks I am really enjoying the sight here! I fish jigs, spinners, fly and spinner combos with the fly rod. Here's a fly and spinner combo I tied up this past winter. Looking forward to enjoying the sight and sharing more flies and fly and spinners with you all! Tight lines, Alec

I love this spinner. :cool: Copper blade? My Grandfather was a machinist who turned copper blades for trout fishing years ago. The fly is a very nice tie too. I like it a lot. Is that a sproat hook?

You have an interesting web site. Beautiful ties there.

Thanks fellas - Pup, the hook has a limerick bend. Its a vintage Mustad model - I don't remember the model number - Ill try and find it later this week...
Here's another called the "Nova" on the same model hook...

Those do look good! Would work well on many species. Chasing trout with them?

I can tell you those fly spinners are pan fish killing machines in ponds and small lakes . The big ole goggle eye perch will eat them like candy . You must have been studying the old time spinners from 1800 to about 1950 . The colors and tie off at the head are perfect . Welcome .
