Well here are some jigs I tied up to hit the river with next week if I'm lucky and all goes as planned. These are all 3/32oz jigheads with size 1 hooks. The top jig is what I call my "helgricraw", it is brown bucktail with shrimp orange dubbing for the body and a brown hackle collar to finish it off. The middle jig is a dual marabou jig with white marabou tied in straight and then chartreuse marabou palmered over the top. The bottom jig is similar to the middle one but it has silver flash tied in and white marabou palmered over white marabou that was just tied in straight. I did the white on white after I did the chartreuse on white as you can see the difference in how the material is and it has a different action in the water, so I wanted the all white just in case the smallies aren't hitting the chartreuse.

Smalljaw the jigs are tied very well. The top jig colors look great together and the chart added in on the second jig looks good and I also think the fish will kill it.

Those should get the job done. Fall river fishing for me usually means fast/furious casting with lots of ripping & burning baits. I'd tie on the thread necks and jerk away. :D

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I tend to use jerkbaits and spinnerbaits mostly but I'm preparing for what could be a much slower pace as we have some warm weather right now but by the time I go the temp will probably drop 20 degrees or so and I'll have to really finesse them with cold water tactics.
