This is my first attempt at using Kip Tail, these are Redear (Kip) inspired jigs. I need alot more practice:

Pink/Chart:

Happy - No problem with those!!!!!!!!!! but yeah kip can be hard to work with till you get used to it but it's still way better than squirrel tail!!!!!!!!!!

They do look like good jigs Heath. One thing with Kip is that it's easier to work with less material.

I don't know why you think you need more practice. Those are SWEET!! :icon14::icon14: What did you coat the thread with? Looks like vinyl electricians tape.

Thanks!!! Yeah, i noticed that Ronny, I was adding a couple clumps of the main color, but was still difficult for me... probably easier if my fingers were'nt numb from my Carpal tunnel acting up...

Thanks Vern!.. That is SH clear as nails , couple coats with an older bottle that has thickened up..

wow, they look like you have been doing it a long time!! they look perfect!! excellent color combos, I gave a few of those orange and yellows to a serious crappie fisherman who spider rigs and adds a minnow to the jig, he in turn gave two of them to a guide on the lake, both these guys really got into the crappies on that color, he said if the water is muddy or off color that is now his go to jig.

I don't see where you need to improve, it looks as if you have been tying with it for a long time, very nice and excellent color combos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
