They will get bit!!! If I saw those on my table I'd be swating them with a magazine!!! They are buggy for sure, nice work!

Look good buddy!!!!!! With all that hackle is there enough room for a fish to bite down and get hooked????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

Thanks Doug, there is a nice gap , i have the puncture marks to prove it.. lol...

I really like the look of hackle sticking out like that, when it is done on as a collar or on a body it makes the jig look "buggy" beyond belief, and so far I've only worked with saddle and whiting hackle but I'm looking forward to making more patterns with it. And I still think those "bugs" look alive!

smalljaw you can do a dubbing loop as in fly tying and use dubbing. After it's wrapped use the hook part of velcro on it to make it look buggy.

They will get "ate up"!!!:D Very nice tyes Heath, what size heads did you use on em. Used some 1/80 close to those on bream and believe me they will catch em.

Thanks Ronnie. Those are 1/16 and 1/32. I have some 1/80 but don't have much small chenille. I need to see what I can come up with.
