The #8 sickles weren't purchased recently, they were made in Korea. They have a rough spot on top of the hook eye that could rough up your line and since I use 2lb test a lot I'm afraid to use them. I heard the black chrome sickles are bad. Anything else bad because I've been pouring a bunch lately and have gone through over 10,000 hooks in the last couple month's ? I'm scared to pour anything now.
