Six 11" Brutegill

Caught these big Bluegill out of Lake Perris within a 3 week window. All the fish were caught before 0900, in 12 to 34 FOW, at different locations. Some have been previously posted.
Was using 2 lb test izorline XXX, Auto (Reptile & Hot Pink) jigs tipped with crickets. Was also using Aji & Mebaru Japanese rods.

These healthy, mature fish are still swimming in Lake Perris.

Nichole and i went out 2 weeks ago and got on some decent ones too. Nothing godzilla like, but good fun never the less.

We went out on a sunday -- tried to leave the lake at like 10:30am... and there was over a 45 minute wait at the ramp... Ah... perris in the summer.

Too crazy on the weekends rm - surprised the big fish are showing up early this year. Low water or El Nino maybe???
