Satin/Wool Jigs

Hello everyone new here and just read about the jigging master red. Do any of you guys that tied them up still use them today? I was thinking about tying up some small 1/64 oz versions. Just curious if you all were having good luck with them? I mostly tie with artic fox, duck, and kiptail right now but liked the wool/satin look. Thanks guys! You all make some nice jigs!

GLAD ya came over here. Really like your work.
As for satin wool/satin jigs, I don't use em, but a lot of guys do and have great success with them.

I use wool roving jigs, they work really good. I still use more regular flash than satin though. The wool roving makes nice full body profile jigs with very little material. Not a silver bullet, but certainly another tool for the tackle box.

Hi VA, The wool/satin jigs are about all I use anymore;they've proved more effective on all species than any natural or artificial material leadheads that I've used in 50 years! I was just up last weekend ,tying with Red,who has over 5000 tied up for upcoming outdoors shows -his recent repeat customers,from success they've experienced, now force Red to sell em in BOXES of 20 or 50, rather than buying small quantity packages!

Lol nope dad is retired now and he isn't much for the boat so I've been beating the banks with him... Hoping the bite picks up soon... If he didn't go with me I would probably take the little boat out

Tried some Jungle Jim versions on crappie with excellent results.
