Yesterday was a tough day. We got on the water a little later than we wanted. started off pretty good catching a few but had to figure out what they wanted.. I should have tied on the Blue/Chart right off the bat... I started landing a few with a craw fish color @ 0700 and then they quit it on me and we started catching a few more on caddo magic slab bandits... I finally tied on one of these dudes and started catching a little bigger fish... No hogs just good eaters. We were catching dinks most of the day but managed 20 or so keepers.. Had fun and didnt get rained on too bad. Hit a boat dock that has been good to me and we drug fish out from under it left and right but only 5 or so keepers from under it. This was the first time my buddy had ever jig fished and targeted crappie... He said that that was about as good as it gets right there. LOL

Pepop those fish we worked on early were thick under high saw bridge using the trolling motor to drift in 15 foot of water or better. Casting past the pillons 10 foot or so and giving the jig bout an eight second drop. Then slow reeling with a stop every so often. We moved around a bit but nailed them on both bridge openings if you know what I meen. Bite got slow round 11 and we started hitting some docks. There is an orange adobe bd in the area on the creek side lots of fun thre too
