It's not a jig or a fly per se. I tied this with Rozetti Velvet chenille, pink craft fur, and a strip of 1/8" wide bungee rubber.

The hook is an Eagle Claw 249WA-1/0. It rides with its hook point down. I use this style of hook when fishing soft plastic flukes for river bass.

This fluke is pretty light, but should gain some weight when wet. It measures just under 6 inches long.

Yeah, not sure where you would classify that one so i'd say 'hybrid' works. Heck, not even sure which rod i would want to sling it on, the fly or the spin. Might also work well as a drop shot rig.

I like it for sure :exclamation:

Thank you for your comments Everyone. :)

I'm looking forward to fishing this lure. I hope that it performs similarly to a soft plastic fluke or a senko style bait.

Thank you Doc. :)

Tied this "bloodworm" fluke just a little bit ago.

I hope to try it sometime on stream steelhead. It could possibly mimic a skein of roe.[/hr]
