I was organizing some of my tying supplies and as I was putting some stuff in a rubbermaid bin I dropped a bag of tan rabbit zonkers so since I just did a few blue bunnys I thought why not do some in tan since I have that color paint. 1/16 size 2 hook painted peanutbutter (pumpkin brown with some white mixed in), and tan Spirit River UV 2 enhanced rabbit zonkers, and a little gold flash for good measure.

Thanks all! Yes TF, I've been practicing a good bit as I want to keep getting better because I'm still very much new to this and there is a lot I need to learn. Fortunately I've been tying these rabbit jigs a long time but I've been doing more this year as one of the pros has a video about using hair jigs in extremely cold water and extremely warm water and with the hot summer we had a lot of local guys wanted me to make them rabbit hair jigs so I have some practice with that material.

I missed this one somehow earlier but I like it. Do the uv2 enhanced zonkers show up under a blacklight? I'm curious, always check my baits to see how they look under a blacklight. I'm a big fan and believer in uv colors in baits.

Yep! They show up really well! I was told that this stuff is a little different as it is treated for both UVF and UVR properties but since I know nothing about it I looked it up. The UVF is the florescent spectrum of UV light and the UVR is the reflected UV light, what difference it makes is beyond me but I did have some success with it fishing side by side with untreated baits and the UV stuff was killing the non UV stuff. It could be coincidence but who knows, it is a neat concept.

I've never seen the UV2 zonkers before. I doctor some strips myself using fluorescent paint pens with only a little matting of the hair. The UV2 is something that I'll have to look into.
