These are a couple new "to me" combos that Ive added lately. I havent used much purple in the past but a friend has been smokin the crappie with it lately. The rootbeer float will be better in clearer water.

Those should work. Let us know how the purple does. I've got purple marabou and hackle but never used it.

Paint is diff color than I've seen. Custom?

I really like both of your ties. Your first pattern would will make an interesting color combination for a bass jig.

AF good eye on the chenille that's new age rootbeer and rootbeer metallic combo.
Adam the first paint is a brown I got from carman. Second one is rootbeer. I did make some 3d's... Price of eyes will have to go up for me do much more of that! Do like making with larger domes though.
