I have a bunch of jigs from a couple years ago that never got painted, what is the best way to prep lead for best powder paint adhesion once the lead has oxidized?

I've used white vinegar to remove oxidation, oils, and dirt. Can scrub the jig head in this liquid with a toothbrush and wipe dry with a cloth or paper towel. Note that if you soak the entire jig for a good while, the vinegar will leave a pitted look on a slightly rusted hook.

Thanks pup, I new I read before what to use but could not remember. Soon as I saw vinegar it all came back. These are slab type jigs so there are no hooks to worry about.
