Original Horsehead color

There was a thread on another board about original color's of the horsehead jigs. One of the originals was a Peacock mix, Chartreuse Head/Teal Body/Chartreuse maribou tail.

A few folks remembered it but couldn't seem to match the body color, I decided to try dubbing. Pulled out the grinder and every bag of dubbing. I used a combination of SLF dubbing in Kingfisher Blue and some Wapsi Super Bright Green Caddis and this was the mix I finally came up with

Those are SWEET!!! I'm beginning to like using dubbing for body material, a nice buggy look without being over the top, nice ties!!
