Donated some jig heads to a kids fishing program, and the report is 46 bass up to 4# caught. Probably not on my heads since not knowing better I sent mostly panfish sizes.

The program is in the Sands Springs area. The impression of Oklahoma that sticks in my mind was from some old movie about the dust bowl - I figgered played out oil fields, tumbleweeds, & parched wasteland. That lake in the pic is God's country!

A website generates a fair amount of donation requests - if kids are involved I usually send something. Gotta be careful of scams. Think I got nicked by a phony "Youth Bass Club of Texas".
